Erkki Helaniemi

Erkki has worked in Corporate Finance industry for 35 years. Since 1988, he has worked as chairman of the board and partner of the current Aktia Alexander Corporate Finance Oy. During his career, Erkki has worked as a project manager or supervisor in hundreds of capital market transactions. Previously, Erkki also acted as an advisor to several listed companies in matters related to rewarding and incentives. In recent years, he has helped several medium-sized companies in challenging financing reorganizations.

Erkki has previously served on the boards of several large companies. He also has experience as chairman of the investment committee of the University of Helsinki of the Finnish Foundation for Share Promotion and he is still a member of the administrative bodies of many cultural institutions and foundations. Erkki holds a LL.M. degree from the University of Helsinki and in his spare time enjoys hunting, tennis and badminton.
