Capital restructuring and convertible bond of approx. € 40M, Lead manager & financial advisor
Description of the reference
Componnenta Plc conducted a financial arrangement in 2016, in which it agreed to pay back its collateral debt. As part of financing the arrangement and to secure adequate working capital, Componenta issued a convertible capital loan of 40 million euros. The objective of the financial arrangement was to enable Componenta to implement strategic measures to improve profitablitity.
We acted as the lead manager and the company’s financial advisor in the financial arrangement.
Componenta Plc, founded in 1918, is a Finnish technology company that manufactures components for companies in the mechanical engineering industry. Componenta operates internationally and is Finland’s leading contract manufacturer in the mechanical engineering industry. The turnover of Componenta’s continuing operations was 183.6 million euros in 2016.
