Mezzanine financing and senior loan of approx. € 44M, Lead manager in the financing arrangement
Description of the reference
In the years 2017–2019, As Oy Grand Residence conducted a large-scale financing arrangement for real estate development at Korkeavuorenkatu 21, a historical landmark building in the center of Helsinki. The financing of the project consisted of a senior loan and innovative interim financing. With the help of the financing, Grand Residence conducted a unique renovation, as the Finnish Border Guard operated in the property until 2012, until the State of Finland decided in 2012 to sell the property and return it to its original residential use. The year 2019 witnessed the revival of this magnificent neo-renaissance building.
We acted as the lead manager in organizing the financing for the real estate development project.
